The Southwest School of Art kicks of Fiesta week with the Fiesta Arts Fair on April 22, 23. This family-friendly event celebrates and showcases the contemporary art of 120 artists from all over the nation. Ceramics, paintings, jewelry, glass work, photography and wearable art will be available for purchase, and art-goers will enjoy live music and some of San Antonio’s best Mexican food.
Children will also be able to work with professional artists in the Children’s Art Garden.
Fiesta Arts Fair is open to the public and admission sustains educational programs at the non-profit Southwest School of Art. Fiesta Arts Fair takes place on the grounds of the Southwest School of Art’s Ursuline Campus, 300 Augusta at Navarro.
The arts fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 22 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 23. Admission is $15 for adults (two-day admission), $5 daily for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 5.
