Raw Food Destination at Pearl Now Offers Friday Evening Dinners
“Raw” isn’t everyone’s favorite word when it comes to Friday night dining. But Noah Melngailis, owner of One Lucky Duck at Pearl, knows how to make raw cuisine delicious. Unsure? Spend a Friday evening enjoying a multi-course meal created by Melngailis, who recently began offering Friday evening dinners by reservation only. “We have access to so many incredible recipes with my partnership with my sister (raw vegan celebrity chef Sarma Melngailis), I thought it was a shame to not use them, so the dinners were born,” said Melngailis.
“We plan to release a new menu every month, highlighting local seasonal produce in tremendous applications.” Consider April’s menu: Beat and pine nut goat cheese ravioli; avocado cucumber soup with mango relish; warm kale salad with fennel and cashews; raw tacos; zucchini and tomato lasagna; fennel sorbet; double chocolate tart with coconut cream.
Raw food dinners at One Lucky Duck (303 Pearl Parkway, #109) are by reservation only from 6-10 p.m. Fridays. Cost is $39 per person plus tax and tip. Guests are invited to bring their own wine or beer. Seating is limited; to reserve a seat, call 210-223-3825 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
