Beginner Classes for Yoga, Pilates start Jan. 4 at inBalance.

A commitment to fitness is a commitment to better physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. You can make that commitment (or give the gift of fitness during the holidays) by signing up for either a five-week beginner yoga series or a five-week beginner Pilates series at inBalance studio in Leon Springs. Both intro workshops start Jan. 4 and continue through Feb. 1.

The yoga series is a great introduction for someone new to yoga, says Hope Cargill, who owns inBalance. “This is perfect for the beginner yogi who wants to learn about yoga or someone with some experience who wants to further their yoga practice and put some meaning to the movement.” The focus will be learning how to strengthen and open your body and calm your mind.

The Pilates series introduces participants to fundamental principles and proper form, tailored to your body. The workshop introduces breathing techniques to utilize your deepest core muscles.
