Luminaria 2014 Expands to Two Nights of Art, Music, Performance, Nov. 7, 8

Luminaria, San Antonio’s annual celebration of artistic delights, is getting a makeover in 2014. This year the event represents a new vision for San Antonio, celebrating the city’s heritage as a cultural crossroads. The theme is “Between North & South” and will feature a mix of local and international talent over the span of two nights Nov. 7, 8, 6 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Artists from the San Antonio area as well as Latin America will join to create murals, light and video installations, and live performances in a unique area of downtown – River North. Featured artists include Flaco Jimenez, Joey Fauerso, Luminox, Wilfredo Priesto, Girl in a Coma, Cruz Ortiz, Chris Sauter and many more.

Luminaria is free and open to the public, but tickets are available for special programming and artist meet and greets.
