Mutual Responsibility is a growing movement of likeminded individuals and groups spread across the country promoting the value of mutual responsibility as the best mechanism for solving social, economic, environmental and other problems facing our communities, our nation and our world. Many local residents may be unaware that San Antonio has a local Mutual Responsibility chapter, which calls itself Humanity in Motion.
The local chapter offers free introductory courses on parenting, relationships (couples), interpersonal relationships and happiness. It also organizes and conducts roundtables on various social and environmental topics.
Mutual Responsibility promotes the concept of interdependence through education and facilitated discussion to create a shift in values away from the old self-centered paradigm to a new interdependent paradigm that can serve as the foundation for a healthy, prosperous and sustainable society in today’s interconnected world.
