Learn to be Planet-Friendly at the Earthwise Living Day Festival in Leon Valley on March 5

The longest running annual environmental event in Bexar County returns to the Leon Valley Community Center on Saturday, March 5. Earthwise Living Day will focus on “Wholesome Planet, Healthy You” and will feature demonstration booths for everyday eco-friendly living. The family-friendly event will feature a variety of specialty vendors, musical performances, a style show, door prizes and much more.

Enjoy a children’s recycled art activity, children’s musical presentations and free trees (while they last). The event will include a recycling drop-off center for wine bottle corks, clothing, computers, electronics, scrap metal and expired medications.

Earthwise Living Day takes place Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leon Valley Community Center, 6427 Evers Rd. For more information, visit www.leonvalleytexas.gov.
