Learn to be Planet-Friendly at Earthwise Living Day in Leon Valley on March 4

The longest-running annual environmental event in Bexar County returns to the Leon Valley Community Center and Conference Center on Saturday, March 4. The 28th Earthwise Living Day will focus on “Creating a ‘Kinder’ World” and will feature booths and vendors for everyday eco-friendly living.

The free family-friendly event will have a variety of specialty vendors, musical performances, children’s activities, door prizes and much more. Also, a recycling drop-off center for wine bottle corks, clothing, computers, electronics, scrap metal and expired medications will be available.

Earthwise Living Day takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 4 at the Leon Valley Community Center and Conference Center, 6427 Evers Rd. For more information, visit www.leonvalleytexas.gov.
