Labor Fest 2016 Offers Three-Day Music and Unity Festival, Sept. 2-4

Labor Fest San Antonio is all about community, unity and music. This three-day multicultural music-and-more festival takes place during Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2-4) and provides families “Bigger and Better” entertainment that unites and entertains the local community.

Labor Fest is jam-packed with live performances from national, regional and local artists including Full Force, Chaka Khan, Betty Wright, The SOS Band, The O’Jays and many more. Giveaways, carnival activities and a canned food drive are also included.

Visitors will enjoy a free Health and Career Expo on Saturday, Sept. 3, that will feature exhibits from businesses and the military, as well as information on obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, HIV/AIDS, mental illness, PTSD and leukemia.

On Sunday, guests are invited to participate in S.W.E.E.P., which hopes to unite the community in prayer, peace and empowerment through music.

Live entertainment and carnival events start on Friday, Sept. 2, at Hemisfair Park, and the festivities continue through Sunday, Sept. 4. For more information and to purchase festival day tickets, visit
