Additional Stores Set to Arrive in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights in Coming Months
Juicing bars seem to have popped up all over town as entrepreneurs have set up shop to feed the wonderfully growing local craving for fresh, healthy fruit and veggie juices. It’s a local culinary craze sparked in large part by Juicer Heroes, founded by brothers Josh “SuperFood” and Jason “KaleMan” Taylor. They started juicing for local farmers markets before juicing was “cool” in San Antonio.
In the almost two years since the brothers opened their green and purple store on San Pedro, they’ve developed quite a local following, thanks to high-quality juice and their passion for educating their customers and the community about the benefits of juicing and nutrition. Since the doors on Juicer Heroes first opened, the Taylor clan has held a vision for serving and improving the lives of many more people across San Antonio, and beyond. They’re growing this month in San Antonio, opening the doors to a second Juicer Heroes location at Eilan, the Mediterranean-style community north of Loop 1604 off La Cantera Parkway. They also have firm plans to open additional stores in coming months in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights, according to Drew “Padre” Taylor, president of Juicer Heroes and father to Josh and Jason. Juicer Heroes stores are also opening in the Dallas area this year, and the first Houston store is set to open this spring.
Juicer Heroes is located at 15337 San Pedro, just north of Brentwood, and the new Eilan location is at 17101 La Cantera Pkwy, Ste. 8119. For information, visit www.juicerheroes.com.
