San Antonio’s official jazz music festival celebrates another year of musical talent at Travis Park on Sept. 15 and 16. Participate in 34 years of tradition, free of charge, and enjoy award-winning national, regional and local talent with diverse styles of jazz, as well as festival food, vendor wares and local crafts.
On Friday, Sept. 15, enjoy jazzy eats and artisans, the Dirty River Dixie Band, Doc Watkins Orchestra, and Sammy Miller and the Congregation. Saturday welcomes a children’s jam session, Kevin Eubanks and many more talented jazz musicians, including the U.S. Air Force Band.
The event is free, but VIP passes are available for $250. Passes include reserved seating, private restrooms, VIP bar and dining experience, valet parking and an after-party at the St. Anthony Hotel Rooftop Bar. Jazz’SALive is sponsored by San Antonio Parks Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide enhancements to San Antonio parks.
