What could be better than a weekend of amazing jazz musical entertainment in beautiful downtown San Antonio? Make plans to be present as Travis Park comes alive with the sounds of jazz on Sept. 19 and 20 for Jazz’SAlive.

The free event will feature local and international jazz musicians including the San Antonio River Rats, The Rippingtons, Tower of Power, Soul Track Mind, Powerhouse Big Band, and one of Tejano music’s most celebrated recording artists, Joe Posada.

The festival will also host a bevy of food trucks, concession stands and activities for children. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get there early to claim the best spots on the lawn. The event is presented by The San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, with a performance by the Central Catholic High School jazz band on the Jefferson Stage.
