Don’t let the holidays pass you by without enjoying a tamale or two at the historic Pearl Brewery on Saturday, Dec. 5. The annual tamale festival at Pearl began in 2010 and has become a San Antonio tradition. It’s a celebration of food, music and culture that the whole family can enjoy.
With more than 40 tamale makers, you’re guaranteed to find a variety and taste that’s new and delicious, including gluten-free and vegan options.
Participants will enjoy a full afternoon of live music, performances, activities for children and tamales from more than 40 makers. No ticket is necessary, but bring cash for food and beverages.
Tamales! takes place at Pearl, 303 Pearl Pkwy, from 12-6 p.m. on Dec. 5. For more information, visit www.atpearl.com.
