Heart & Sole Event Focuses on Instilling Fitness and Volunteerism in Kids

heartandsoul

Heart & Sole is a one-day event that’s completely dedicated to children. The event is a fun mix of community education and physical activity, all geared to inspire young ones to celebrate the gift of giving and encourage volunteerism at an early age.

It begins with a one-mile fun run for children 12 and under, after which local non-profits will host children’s activities and provide information on how children and their parents can get involved in their communities.

The event benefits the Any Baby Can – Any Body Can Health and Wellness Program, which works to promote health, fitness and the inclusion of individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

The event takes place Sunday, Dec. 21, at 4:30 p.m. at Trader’s Village, located at 9333 SW Loop 410. There’s a $5 registration fee for fun run participants. For more information visit www.fitcitysa.com.
