It has been called the “Best Arts Fair” in San Antonio, and it’s certainly the most colorful and one of the largest in the area. Part of official Fiesta festivities, the fair has a 42-year history and showcases contemporary artwork and artists from across the U.S. The 2015 fair takes place Saturday and Sunday, April 18, 19, on the grounds of the Southwest School of Art’s Ursuline Campus, 300 Augusta, at Navarro.
Visitors will find ceramics, paintings, jewelry, glass, photography, wearable art and many more high-quality works for sale during the fair. The event draws more than 10,000 people who enjoy art, regional music and delicious Mexican foods. Special activities will be set up for kids at the Children’s Art Garden. Event proceeds benefit educational programs at the Southwest School of Art.
