Evening Seminar is Part of the Mind Science Foundation’s Distinguished Speaker Series
Learn about the sensation and science of touch from Dr. David Linden, neurobiologist, author and professor from the John Hopkins University School of Medicine during a March 31 event hosted by the Mind Science Foundation. Linden will share insights and excerpts from his recently released book, Touch: The Science of Hand, Heart and Mind.
Linden will share his research on the millions of years of evolution that have formed areas in our brains dedicated to processing touch signals. He links biology and behavioral science to give entertaining and enlightening insights about how we feel, literally, and how our complex sensory system receives and interprets touch. Linden is also the author of New York Times bestseller The Compass of Pleasure and The Accidental Mind.
The Science of Touch seminar takes place Tuesday, March 31, from 6-8pm at the Pearl Stable, 307 Pearl Pkwy. For more information and tickets, visit www.mindscience.org.
