CHILL OUT Yoga Workshop Focuses on Stress Reduction, Relaxation on March 13


Local yogi Deborah Charnes wants everyone to know that stress is a state of mind. “We can be chill, if we put our mind to it,” she says. Charnes is a local yoga therapist who focuses on helping people learn techniques through yoga, meditation and breath work to reduce their levels of stress. Charnes notes that stress can play a role in five of the six leading causes of death, and it is the trigger for nine out of 10 doctor visits.

Learn how to cope with the stress in you life by participating in Charnes’ Chill Out workshop on Sunday, March 13, at 5 Points Local. The two-hour workshop will include meditation, breath work, restorative yoga and yoga nidra.
