Take your gardening skills to the next level. Sign up for the Master Gardener Training Program and start learning lots more about botany and plant physiology, plant identification, landscape and design, water conservation and quality, herbs, vegetables, urban trees and much more.
Once accepted into the Master Gardener Program, you will be part of the training program that provides more than 50 hours of instruction. As a master gardener, you will provide information to local residents on environmentally responsible gardening and landscaping. This program is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about the cultivation and maintenance of many types of plants.
The Master Gardener Training Class starts on Feb. 22 and continues each Wednesday through May 24. Classes take place from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office, 3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208. Act fast because the application deadline ends in early February. Cost for the full program is $269.
