Mission Reach Flotilla Festival

The San Antonio River Foundation and San Antonio River Authority invite you to the 2nd Annual Mission Reach Flotilla Festival on Saturday, April 8. This free family-friendly event starts at 11 a.m. at the Mission County Park Pavilion and will feature live music, local food vendors, a craft mercado and festival activities for kids.

Main events include a watercraft decorating contest, where community members will transform their canoes, kayaks and paddleboards into works of art, and the Flotilla Water Parade and Costume Contest, which is a mile-long parade where community members paddle down the river in their finest Fiesta attire.

The Flotilla Festival is designed to bring awareness to the newly developed Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration and Recreation Project of the San Antonio River, including more than 15-miles of hike and bike trails, pavilions and other outdoor recreation amenities.

The Mission County Park Pavilion is located at 6030 Padre Dr. For more information about the flotilla festival, San Antonio River Foundation and other Mission Reach events, visit www.sariverfoundation.org.
