TAROT NOW: The Ten of Wands

The other day, I bought a discount card from a local Boy Scout troop. It’s a plastic card with promotions from local businesses, most for practical items like oil changes, theme parks and 50 cents off coffee purchases for the rest of the year (that alone was worth the price of the card for a coffee hound like me). Each offer seemed carefully chosen for use throughout the year. The Ten of Wands follows a similar idea.

Wheat, rice, corn and oats are categorized as “cereal grasses.” When we eat them, we are eating the seeds of those grasses. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, spelt and rye seeds, and usually in oats as well. Corn and rice are gluten free.

Commercial grains have undergone extensive hybridization and, more recently, genetic modification. The plants don’t look or taste the same as they did 10,000 years ago, and they are not the same biologically.

Tomatoes Prevent and Even Treat Liver Disease
